Subject: Location
Issues with continuity came when it came to location, we had to ensure we used the same science room each time we decided to film. If we did not use the same room when we decide to shoot continuity of the scenes may be under question as it may become apparent that the classrooms are not the same. This could be due to different posters on the walls or the layout of the room being different.
Another issue with shooting in classrooms is that these rooms would be under constant use, to get passed this we have tried to negotiate times when we can use the classroom to shoot. This will then put us under a time constraint as we would need to shoot the necessary coverage before the classroom will be used for an after school activity.
Supervision difficulties became apparent when we found out we could only shoot in science rooms only if there is a science teacher near by to supervise us. An additional problem surrounding this issue is that teachers may have prior engagements and therefore cannot supervise us while shooting. Meaning we cannot shoot during that time, to overcome this we will present a diary to a science teacher and find out when is a suitable time for them to supervise us while we shoot.

Problems before shooting (Actors/Actresses)
Before we decided to shoot we encountered some problems. Our first problem was looking for actors that suited particular roles in our movie. We found this difficult because the people we approached either lacked acting ability or wasn't enthusiastic in taking part in our movie. When we did find an actress that agreed to play a part in our movie, the following week she dropped out due to the responsibilities within her role in the movie. In addition to this her timetable was very much different to the groups timetable, so the availability of when the actress was available was somewhat limited. Our group therefore had to find people that had a flexible timetable to film and had a positive attitude towards acting in our film. Firstly, we tried internally in our group and used Vivian in various testing shoots before filming, but the same outcome occurred as she wasn't keen on acting. However luckily Vivian had a friend as an alternative source if something like this happened. Her friend was very keen to act, so our group agreed to use her in our film. In spite of this, we had to be flexible with her time table because she attended a different school and was a consortium, she also had school drama rehearsals as well. To manage this effectively our group decided to film after school about twice or three times a week at 3:30pm to approximately about 6 depending on how much we had to film, this ensured everyone's availability.
